1984 Fender Stratocaster '57 American Vintage Re-issue
This one sounds great! Bravo
Stellar sounding Strat! Looks great too! It’s a “I think grandpa had a guitar somewhere in the closet “?
Thankfully, I have a ‘62 reissue and it is STELLAR. I can only imagine how AMAZING this one is. GORGEOUS. Thank You.
Nice Work! WooF!!🐶🐶
Killer guitar, someone's going to very fortunate.
Nice!
Don’t sell gramps guitar and amp!
🎉
Foda.
WoW!
SOUNDS = 3:10
The 2017 Artist models are going for over 2.5k and up now after being retailed around $899. Those are vintage spec down to the 7.25 radius and 60’s pickups.
63 necks ❤
My uncle gave me a 1960's K-22 T like 15 years ago, I sent it to a shop couple months ago waiting for them to get it in playable condition, I've never heard it. Since I've owned it, it's never been in good condition hoping for the best.
Amp sounds sublime. Really great playing as well. Tks !
I've been playing for 38 years. That thing sounds really really good. P90s, semi hollow Bodies I have found that that's where it's at. I have 31 guitars. And I prefer my guitars with p90s or the semi hollow Bodies. Unfortunately I do not own a semi-hollow body with p90s
Love the necks on these guitars, but dislike eveything else. You can build a fine guitar using the neck and sourced parts. My Lenny guitar has Rose pickups, an SRV neck, Standard body, Emerson pots, Eroc Johnson signature staggered tuners, silver waxed wiring, Gotoh bridge and It is a dream guitar. It is my favorite guitar. My first wife is a 98 Hardtail strat in sunburst bamed Martha.
The back is a solid single piece of 16" wide Honduran mahogany...as is the neck WITH an adjustable rod. Hide glue and shellac. Best kept secret in vintage guitars.
I think I saw zakk wylde playing one of these when I saw Ozzy when I was like 16
As Always, Nice Work! WooF!!🐶🐶
Looks identical to the 53’ tele my uncle gave me when I started playing (I’m 14 now) but imma cherish that forever
He’s not the original owner I’m the 3rd I run it thru an early 60’s ac30 my great grandmother had in her basement from her father who was a slide player, and it’s my fav rig ever man
Absolutely TERRIBLE way to showcase the sound of the amp. Get a Jazz player next time please
I love The Jimmy Page Gibson Les Paul Standard. However I want the chrome hardware and white open coil humbucker pickups that would match the white pick guard. Plus I would to have more Les Paul’s with Tobacco Burst, Black, Cherry 🍒 Red and Gold Top the same way.
That "R" on the headstock represents Rico, not Rich like some think.
Talk about marketing. Hats off to the creators of this demo video. And, lovely guitar, of course.
Perfect demo for this guitar.
SOUNDS = 2:51
You might want to check the spacing on the A string!
10k. They sell for ALOT more in Australia. And the Lollars probably improve the tone output.
There’s a UA-cam video of Iron Butterfly playing Inagodadevida with a Mosrite!
Wow probably lost to some rich guy get rich guy teach me about money bro lol
Wall Art.
Doesn't sound like wall art to me..
Seriously?
String alignment from the pick-ups and down the fretboard is abysmal.
I’ve seen that on quite a few of the vintage Gibsons on this channel. It makes me laugh when people go on about the handcrafted “quality” of old Gibson’s and compare them to Stradivarius violins. Anyone who remembers what American cars were like in the 70s and 80s knows that the whole “Made in the USA” thing is no guarantee of a quality product whatsoever. That said, this is a gorgeous sounding specimen. There’s something about old, unpotted, haphazardly wound pickups that they just don’t seem to be able to replicate anymore.
To whoever lucky enough to buy it : PLEASE don't f**k around with that guitar in terms of conversions etc. If you have problems with the tailpiece just get the Mojo one. Do your research. There are ways around possible tailpiece issue nowadays that are completely non invasive and reversible so you can restore the guitar to it's original condition. DON'T BUTCHER THESE GUITARS
You speak as if you’re some authority/wisdom on how to handle historical pieces. Shows how little you understand about the industry in general. Those good enough to do proper work have a standard policy of not working on guitars that are in good shape, regardless of what the customer might ask. All great conversions came from “Butchered” or near-destroyed examples that would have otherwise been unplayable or left to rot. This is a commonly known fact among the crowd who owns/deals/uses/works on these guitars. “Do your research”.
@@popcorny11 sounds like you're one of those people. Did you even understand my comment? Did you watch the video? Cause it doesn't look like it. I'm talking about preserving a historical piece. And for the record I do know how to look after historical pieces. Hence my comment. I've lost count of how many goldtops, all in very good conditions, converted to humbucker/abr/burst specs.
@@Fox-86 you’ve seen it so it must be true across the board right? Nah, I fully understood your comment I just think that if an owner who has the means to afford both a good example and still want a professional conversion.. allowing them to enjoy the instrument more.. why the heck would you be so opinionated about it? If you have the means.. you should buy and preserve as many as you like. Your sense of “waste” is something subjective.
@@popcorny11 swapping a tailpiece is one thing. "converting" a 52 to a 59 as has been often done with these models, is another thing entirely. But hey, what do I know right?
@@Fox-86 👍
Is that the one matthew scott had in his last video???.maybe its not but would be a cool coincidence
I don't believe so. The one Matthew had had a little greening in underarm portion of the top. I suggested to him to do a go fund me...I would participate in order for him to own that guitar. He is going to be someone in the guitar world... IMHO.
@@stephenstevens6573 I know its not matthew's one. This one is 1953 and matthews is 1952. Would have been a great coincidence.
2:05〜
These early LP:s always sounds so good!
Nice 👍
That needs to be in the hands of Charlie Starr
Sounds great. Not everything has to sound like there’s 20 blankets and an inch of cement over the speaker cabinet like a set of Seymour Duncans into a Friedman. I miss the days when music gear included treble and mid frequencies. Lol
I like you guys. I hope to visit your shop someday. Passion, positivity and great guitars.
Super tone.
GO Boone's!!
It’s awesome that it says “BS” at the very end of the video, that’s great.
Did you call Joe for help?
Longer neck tenon morel body wood perhaps? Maybe because it’s not TV yellow.
100 percent AMAZING. Beautiful guitar. Excellent playing. Glorious video. Thank You.
The one thing I don't like about Gibson, they put the knobs 15 yards from the bridge 😁. The Strat volume knob is perfection for swells.
If you have teensy, Trump-like hands, sure, that’s a problem. For those of us with the hands of an adult… nah, it’s still a problem. Never mind.
@@CentaurusRelax314can we have ANYTHING without politics?
@@Joey_McElroy I didn't mention politics. He was a real estate developer and a cheesy reality tv 'star' before a politician. Your choice how you want to think of him, no? : )
@@CentaurusRelax314 k
@CentaurusRelax314 tiny hands I can make up for, but dementia and not even able to afford a guitar pick, kinda leaves you phucked. Anyway, no politics mentioned, just the state of our present.
I totally agree! Bad ass, Nick!
